TIM DI LAGO
I’m 22-years old and a second year Fashion Design student at WdKA. I listen to and appreciate almost all styles of music, whether it’s jazz, hiphop, funk or techno. However, I mostly like to party to (and play) house. Underground minimal house to be specific, because the music, the dj and the crowd are in constant interaction and often have a more intimate relationship than with other electronic music genres.
ROODRIKS
ROODRIKS consisting of Dion Hendriks & Gijs Roozen will bring you a mix of classic dancehall bangers from the African continent and the newest afro-inspired electronic sounds from beyond. You can expect genres like 90’s kuduro from Angola to brand new Ghanaian dancehall music from the UK. Come dance and bring up the temperature to African levels!
HETTE
A crate digging deejay who found himself in the name of his family, has found new freeing ways in expressing his artistry through music. Generally setting the mood of his sets with lots of percussion, 80's style synths and ever changing breakdowns. Hette lays focus on impactful sounds that shape everyday life and influence his practice beyond the club environment. Amidst meticulous preparation and a craving for authenticity, in a live and vibrant environment, Hette happens.
OKIBASHI
Staying safe is one thing. Staying sane in the liquid crystal display era? Not so easy. That is why you will not only hang-out once more half-dead in front of a screen while your eyes are getting red. Prepare the kettle, search for the lighter, ignite the last incense, wear your night-outfit, revel in the tingling of the lemons and draw our movements until we are united again. This is the beginning of the end.
STAN VONK
Leisure & Event management student Stan Vonk is based in Rotterdam and also works as a high fashion model. The artist Jarreau Vandal inspires him and his sound. He will be playing a mix of R&B and future base music.
RÉMI BOUWSMA
I've been DJing for about a year now, playing mostly house and techno. The first time I fell in love with electronic music was at Glow in the Dark Rotterdam a few years ago - since then, I've become pretty addicted to festivals both indoor and outdoor. These days I've had lots of time to practice my own skills so I can't wait to share some of that good house and techno with you guys soon.
NIL COMI
Nil Comi is a Barcelona based digital designer he finished his degree in graphic design in WDKA 3 years ago. One of his passions is the sea and he has an obsession with blue color. He lives near the mediterranean sea in Sitges, a little town next to Barcelona.Recently he traveled around Asia as a backpacker and has discovered the Buddhism culture. That's the reason of some aspirational and mystic songs.. His styles goes till tech house and why not a little bit of Detroit techno to burn the fire.
NELLY DRAGON
Nelly Dragon is a Rotterdam based artist with a big interest in family histories and the value of photo archives. During her exchange in Stockholm she started Dj’ing. Now she seeks to bring back the 90s rave sounds. Her DJ sets range from old school trance to hard-hitting acid creating a dark yet groovy atmosphere.
JERMAIN FASUTIN
Jermaine Faustin is a Rotterdam based creative currently studying Transformation Design at WdKA. His sound varies from house, to sturdy techno baselines, as long if it’s danceable.
FROM ANGELS
“From Angels” or Leon van Engelen is currently studying Audiovisual Design and fills up most of his spare time by making music that lives somewhere between house and techno. Using live synths and drum machines he creates long swelling tracks with deep basslines and strong melodies.
GLIMLICHT
Being a visual and sound artist for quite some time now, Glimlicht finds himself seeing and hearing not a distinction between them anymore.He uses analogue means to get his compositions and builds upon them with patience, while brewing cough syrup with his guitar. Fragmentation, decay and melancholia are topics that seem to always return to his work.
